A few piccies from a little while ago. I had been down the A1 to RSPB Fairburn Ings to try and catch up with a Common Crane that had been knocking around for a few days. I dipped out on the Crane but I did catch up with some aerobatic cuckoos down at Lin Dyke.
Prior to this shot one had also landed on the wires near the bridge.
I get out and about mainly in Yorkshire, Cleveland and Bedfordshire.
I photograph/digiscope birds, bugs, mammals and flowers with variable success. I am a member of RSPB, BTO, Teesmouth Bird Club, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation.
Yes it was a good Saturday but Cuckoos are becoming rarer up here and I still haven't got that Northumberland year tick
ReplyDeleteLikewise here, but still possible to find regular sites in Yorkshire and in Cleveland
